We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Position Overview:
- The Manager will support the Assistant General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant and members club. This role is integral in maintaining the high standards of service, quality, and guest satisfaction that define our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for relaxed fine dining, a keen eye for detail, and a strong leadership presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Manage the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service and adherence to our high standards.
- Staff Management: Lead, motivate, and develop the restaurant team. Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a high level of service.
- Guest Experience: Enhance the dining experience by addressing guest concerns, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring exceptional service at all times.
- Financial Management: Assist in monitoring and managing the restaurant's budget, control costs, and analyze financial performance. Recommend strategies to drive revenue and optimize profitability.
- Quality Control: Uphold the restaurant's standards for food quality, cleanliness, and overall presentation. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing special events that include all live performances, private dining experiences, and other high-profile functions
- Collaboration: Work closely with the culinary team, front-of-house team, Membership and other departments to ensure seamless operations and a cohesive guest experience.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on various aspects of restaurant performance, including sales, customer feedback, and staff performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a managerial role within a fine dining or Michelin-starred restaurant. Previous experience as an Manager or similar position is highly desirable.
- Education: An Associates or bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and professionalism.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of fine dining standards, operational procedures, and industry trends. Proficiency in financial management and budget control.
- Personal Traits: Exceptional attention to detail, a passion for excellence, and a commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. A food and beverage Geek is preferred.
- Must have a valid ServSafe Manager Certification
