This position shall strive to provide exceptional service to both guests and owners at all times. S/he will be responsible for assisting in the oversight of the entire housekeeping operation. S/he will provide leadership, guidance, and support to the housekeeping team (to include, but not limited to, housemen, inspectors, room attendants and third party cleaning vendors) in the areas of guest service, training, scheduling, and performance management for the overall successful day-to-day operations. This role requires a strong understanding of budgeting, inventory, purchasing, par levels, laundry operations & staff coaching. This position is fully committed to ensuring that all procedures are performed to the department and company standards and serve as an ambassador for CoralTree. This position reports directly to the Director of Housekeeping.

Responsibilities
  • Approach internal and external guest opportunities with a sense of heartfelt care and urgency; provide prompt follow-up to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
  • Foster and maintain strong, positive, and supportive relationships with team members across all departments through effective communication and collaboration of exchanging ideas for best practices.
  • Instill a calm & organized approach when interacting in stressful situations
  • Ensure that sufficient staffing is present to meet the daily business demands. Schedule and properly distribute housekeeping assignments to staff and ensure assignments are completed at the end of each shift.
  • Take ownership to recruit, hire, train, and successfully support and manage the talent of all new and existing team members.
  • Demonstrate financial acumen by preparing labor forecasts and controlling the expenses per the department budget without sacrificing the quality of product and/or services.
  • Consistently perform quality inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are being met.
  • Complete and monitor payroll & time edits
  • Maintain inventory of linen, terry, guest room amenities and request items and place orders to replenish these supplies
Qualifications
  • Minimum 23 years of housekeeping supervisory experience, preferably in a vacation rentals setting
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and OSHA safety standards
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Proficiency with housekeeping and scheduling systems
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Flexible schedule with consistent availability for weekends and holidays
  • Must have a valid South Carolina Drivers License and be insurable within the CoralTree Residence Collection system.
