We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager who has both the passion and knowledge to help overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations to join our team at The Jimmy - Pastaria & Pizzeria. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limitedto the following and may change or be adjusted at any time:

  • Assist the GeneralManager in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including FOH andBOH.
  • Supervise dailyservice, ensuring that all guests receive a seamless and exceptional diningexperience.
  • Develop and mentorstaff by providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Monitor keyperformance indicators (KPIs) and support strategies to meet operational goals.
  • Manage scheduling toensure adequate staffing levels while controlling labor costs.
  • Conduct regularinventory counts, oversee ordering, and monitor food and beverage costs.
  • Collaborate with FOHand BOH teams to optimize communication and service flow.
  • Resolve guestcomplaints and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Oversee health,safety, and sanitation compliance, ensuring adherence to all regulations.
  • Support marketing andpromotional activities to drive revenue and guest engagement.
  • Prepare operationalreports and communicate performance updates to the General Manager.
  • Lead opening andclosing procedures, including cash handling and financial reconciliation.

Additional Skills andResponsibilities

  • Minimum of 2 yearsexperience in restaurant management
  • Strong leadershipskills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
  • Advanced knowledge ofrestaurant operations, including food and beverage service, cost control, andlabor management.
  • Exceptionalproblem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in POSsystems, scheduling software, and inventory management tools.
  • Availability to workflexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

PhysicalDemands and Work Environment

  • Flexibility with job demands and open-minded whenbeing asked to complete tasks
  • May be required to lift, carry, push, orpull heavy objects up to 50 lbs
  • Kneel,bend, or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; be on feet for extended periods oftime
  • Occasionallycrouch and climb.
  • Workingin an environment that may be exposed to hazardous equipment and situations andconditions that produce cuts or minor burns
  • Exposedto hot and cold temperatures, such as when working near ovens or retrievingfood from freezers
  • Ability to be exposed to common allergens and unique ingredients
