Assistant Dining Room Manager

FVK is recruiting for a hospitality focused Assistant Dining Room Manager to join our Culinary Team! This role provides full-scope, hands on serving functions within the community. This is a Full-Time opportunity, with Flexible Scheduling, Benefits, and No Late Nights.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an Assistant Dining Room Manager:

• Organizes, directs and supervises all functions in the main dining room, Cafe and employee cafeteria.
• Monitors server performance and resident satisfaction during serving periods in all areas of responsibility.
• Oversees resident and employee meal charges.
• Oversees keeping of resident meal count records, the function of the computerized meal accounting system, and the accurate completion of the month end meal accounting summaries.
• Maintains established Food and Beverage standards, policies and procedures.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• High school diploma required. Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English, understand measurements, perform basic arithmetic, and follow basic oral and written instructions.
• A minimum of two years' experience in institution or restaurant food service management.
• Ability to give detailed information to each employee about what tasks are to be done and specifically how to accomplish the tasks.
