Shaggy’s has partnered with University of Southern Mississippi to sponsor Shaggy’s Angler camp where kids spend a week with marine educators and learned about fishing techniques, fish behavior and how weather, wind, moon and tides affect fishing. In addition to the sponsorship, Ron Ladner and Rimmer Covington, Shaggy’s Co-owners, made it possible to take the kids deep sea fishing in a component that was not previously part of the camp.
