General Manager, Bar / Lounge

TITLE:  General Manager, Full Service Restaurant (Elevated Bar/Lounge)

COMPENSATION:  $90,000 – $120,000 salary base + performance bonus

BENEFITS:  Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, paid vacation)

SCHEDULE: 5-day workweek, reasonable hours

LOCATION:  Charlotte, NC  (Relocation acceptable!)

 

OVERVIEW:

Seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the opening of a full-service restaurant/lounge concept generating $4–5 million in annual revenue. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong bar program expertise and a track record of driving revenue growth, team development, and operational excellence.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all location operations in alignment with company policies, procedures, and brand standards.

  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining service quality, cleanliness, and staff engagement.

  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a teaching and learning environment.

  • Full P&L management, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth initiatives.

  • Build strong partnerships with peers, vendors, and senior leadership through effective communication and integrity-driven leadership.

  • Maintain knowledge and execution standards for bar program specifications, bar food, and service quality.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 years as full-service General Manager in a sports bar / lounge or similar

  • Experience as General Manager for restaurant with $4–5 million+ in annual sales volume.

  • Proven bar program leadership with significant revenue coming from bar sales.

  • Experience with new location openings or start-up environments.

  • Demonstrated success in growing revenue and team performance.

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and staff development experience.

  • Professional appearance and communication skills.

  • Flexible availability; open schedule required.

  • Stable work history; 3-4 employers in past 10 years preferred
