It is the primary responsibility of the Casino Marketing Manager to assist with Slot events and promotions including slot tournaments and parties by assisting various staff with implementation and follow-up during peak times. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices and procedures.Specific Job Functions: Monitor and analyze the abandon rates and average speed of answers of department phone extensions Monitor and analyze in-coming phone calls to ensure proper customer service verbiage is used Monitor performance of Assistant Manager and Shift Supervisors; develop, counsel and evaluate as necessary Develop and maintain operational procedures for quality and quantity standards to ensure a maximum Vegas experience to guests Handle staff decisions within the marketing call center Identify and resolve inefficiencies / problems affecting the department Research data and trends and implement courses of action to reduce costs and maximize revenues Maintain departmental budget Monitor the complimentary decisions of Specialists, Shift Supervisors and Assistant Managers to ensure they comply with the complimentary policies including room, food, beverage, amenity, show, and event charges Analyze Player Review Committee reports to monitor exceptions Assist the Director of Casino Marketing in establishing and monitoring standard casino room blocks and event room blocks Schedule management staff for areas of departmental operation and determine flex request approvals Research and resolve accounts receivable disputes Develop and maintain departmental recognition programs Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department

Responsible for ensuring the use and maximization of PCS by all executive and casino hosts, including achieving all PCS contact objectives, e.g., telemarketing, email and correspondence. Responsible for driving the fulfillment of special event attendance goals. Communicates and inspires team to achieve objectives. Represents management at special events and promotions, greets and hosts customers to ensure high standards of courtesy friendliness. Communicates results to teams. Ensures proper staffing, training and performance management of department. Models all behaviors expected from the staff including exemplary customer service. Identifies and resolves inefficiencies/challenges in related areas of responsibility. Holds team accountable for following guidelines and accomplishing objectives. Assists Director of Marketing in the identification, recruiting, training, retention and management of executive and casino hosts. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years previous experience in gaming or sales management related positions with increasing levels of responsibility preferred. Includes management of revenue center with expense/margin responsibility. College degree in Marketing, Hotel Sales or Business preferred but not required. Graduate degree in business a plus. Must be an inspirational team player with extremely strong analytical, communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Must be capable of adapting to a fluid environment. Outstanding organizational skills are a must, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Must thrive in a high stress fast-paced environment. Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports. Ability to accept ambiguous circumstances and take action where answers to a problem are not readily apparent.
