Job Title: Director of Catering Company: Capital Hotel Location: Little Rock, AR Description: The Capital Hotel, a newly renovated historic 94 room luxury hotel in the heart of Little Rock, Arkansas with 6,500 square feet of Banquet space, is looking to expand our team with a Director of Catering. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years experience in independent catering, a high level restaurant or hotel operation and will enjoy the challenge of working with our Director of Marketing and Executive Chef, in this up-scale property. Responsibilities include: Soliciting, contracting and managing independent catering events, as well as special groups with catering needs. Initiating and cultivating new and existing leads through cold calls, local events and organization participation and telephone solicitation. Developing effective sales and pricing strategies for different types of events. Designing and pricing menus for specific events. Developing and maintaining relationships with major clients. Analyzing current and potential market and sales trends.
