The Sales and Catering Coordinator's job duties will be evenly divided between sales and banquets and include menu planning, agenda setting and hotel meeting services. Duties also include contract review and facilitating communication before, during and post event with pertinent hotel staff to ensure a high level of service. Must posses the ability to generate leads, analyze event requests, assess catering product and equipment requirements, have experience in formal plated dinners, buffet display and beverage service. Excellent communication skills, an eye for detail, the ability to multi-task, and work independently, as well as the ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight. This is a fast paced position with continual customer contact. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including mornings and weekends.

Job requires exceptional customer service skills. Must enjoy working with people, be a good organizer and supervisor. This self-starter must be able to work any day of the week. Oversee the fast paced operations of special events. Banquet and catering experience preferred. This is an exciting job planning and carrying out banquets for groups of 50 to 150 guests.
