 Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.  Serves as a dynamic and energetic leader, while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication.  Establishes self as highly credible leader with highest levels of integrity and always acts in the best interests of the property and the company.  Acts as a role model and coach while developing employees using a consistent, approachable demeanor and clearly articulating expectations.  Ensures that team members clearly understand and are held accountable for their performance expectations.  Provides appropriate recognition and rewards to individuals and groups when consistent superior performance is attained.  Works as a change agent and challenges the departmental processes to improve and streamline department operations, through the continuous assessment of policies and procedures, work processes and program effectiveness and value.  Demonstrates excellent facilitator skills in determining a vision, aligns and inspires the team to achieve the vision.  Partners and coordinates with other departments to ensure total guest satisfaction and efficient operations in a safe, friendly, comfortable environment, by well-trained, motivated employees.  Embraces, role models and implements all elements of our customer service program including Spotlight on Success and Buzz Sessions, and tier prioritized service.  Recommends and implements change to improve overall employee and guest satisfaction.  Establishes and endorses the business objectives, ethics and values of Harrah?s Entertainment Inc. in accordance with the Code of Commitment. ·         Responsible for the Casino Credit Departments at Harrah?s Chester·         Ensures that the Casino Credit Department operates within the guidelines established by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and by Harrah?s Entertainment concerning credit issuance for the purpose of maximizing gaming revenues while minimizing company losses.  ·         Directly supervises the Credit Executives at Harrah?s Chester.·         Demonstrates the ability to discipline and responsibly direct Credit Department employees.·         Participates in the hiring process of employees.·         Coordinates the operation of the Casino Credit Department.  ·         Responsible for maintaining adequate staffing to meet business demands.  ·         Ensures that all Human Resource Programs are applied in an equitable manner according to company policy, including performance assessment and salary administration.  ·         Responsible for maintaining high morale among employees of the Department.   ·         Assists in the development and execution of Casino Marketing Programs to stimulate revenue growth while maintaining acceptable margin performance.  ·         Monitors service levels in all operational areas to enhance guest experience.  ·         Establishes and maintains an effective two-way communication link between all levels of the Credit Department and to Senior Management.  ·         Functions as the credit manager in accordance with all Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations and Harrah?s policies.·         Complies with and upholds company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals and business strategy.   ·         Politely gives consistent, timely and accurate information and finds answer when unsure.  ·         Acts as a role model and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah?s and encourages other to do the same.  ·         Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.  A minimum of 1-2 years related Credit, Cage or Casino experience with supervisory experience in any of those areas. General business and accounting knowledge; broad knowledge of credit procedures and administration; knowledge of laws and regulations affecting the casino industry; organizational and communication skills.   ·         Ability to communicate with all levels of management in a clear, friendly, and confident manner.  ·         Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.  ·         Must present a well-groomed appearance.  ·         Must be able to maneuver around office areas, effectively work in high traffic areas and respond to visual and aural cues.  ·         Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.  ·         Must be self-motivated and be able to handle more than one function at a time by being well organized.  ·         Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.  ·         Good mathematical and clerical aptitude for accurate record keeping.  ·         Excellent customer service skills a must.·         Must be able to pass ManagerLAP assessment. Is able to work in smoke filled environment, and is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.   Must be able to obtain a ?Key? license through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and other regulatory requirements as dictated by governing authorities. PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDS: ·         Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and stack.  ·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.·         Must be fluent and literate in English.·         Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when required.·         Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.·         Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality.The perks are countless here at Harrah?s Chester Casino and Racetrack!? Description The Credit Manager is responsible for implementing the approved MACR credit policies and procedures with respect to establishing a guest’s credit privilege by evaluating credit history of applicants in compliance with established MACR policy and procedure, objectives, goals and PA Gaming Control Board regulations.   Review credit applications for approval or disapproval of established amount or less individually or established amount or less jointly, according to approved MACR guidelines. Supervise, direct, monitor, evaluate and train Credit Clerks.  Monitor and generate reports on all guest credit play. Consistently updates Casino Shift Manager  Establish disposition of credit issued and follow up on credit decisions. Review player rating to assure legitimate credit play. Knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, etc.) and attendant regulations as well as company internal controls, policies and procedures.  Promote positive guest relations providing an enjoyable gaming experience Assist in other projects as directed. Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule.
