Job Title: Catering Manager Company: SMG Location: Oklahoma City, OK Description: LOCATION: Cox Convention CenterPOSITION:   Catering ManagerFLSA STATUS:  Salaried/Exempt POSITION SUMMARY:This position oversees all Catered Functions including, coffee breaks, buffet, plated, back stage, and reception events. All functions serving any food and beverage items.  POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Produces contracts and Banquet Event Orders for each event   Hiring and Training of all Catering,  Servers, Cashiers and Bartenders. Maintaining labor costs and budget goals. Fulfilling the service per each sales orders Maintains an active role in local hospitality community and professional associations. Attend in-house event-related meetings and relays immediate changes with other departments. Oversees the completion of the cleanup at the event site to ensure all items are returned and the site iscleaned. Maintaining all Banquet equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance. Must be creative in designing buffets and coffee break décor. Attention to detail and consistency in every aspect of service is a must Position is very hands on with excessive interaction with clients during events. Ordering linen and maintaining uniforms. Inventory Control. Completes bar consumption reports Supervises bartenders during events Ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage policy Beverage Inventory, ordering, receiving and controls. Time and attendance management. Cash Handling and banquet Checks. Other duties as assigned.
