This will be a full time supervisory position under the Banquet & Assistant Banquet Managers. The hours for this position will be mainly evenings and weekends. There are a wide range of duties for this position, such as directing and assisting in the setting up and tearing down of banquet functions, setting up AV equiptment, setting up banquet bars, directing banquet servers and assigning sections, may serve as the contact for the guests, processes banquet event order tickets at end of function, and many other duties as required. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience and a flexible schedule, they will be able to work quickly and efficiently alone or with a team. Mojos on 86th is seeking an organized and motivated individual to assist with catering events. This position will conduct small events and coordinate staff at larger events. Hours vary based upon events but will include lunch, dinner, and weekends. Catering and/or service experience is a plus. Organizational skills, multitasking, and the ability to coordinate up to 10 banquet servers is key to success in this position. The ability to lift and carry hot boxes, coolers, and hot pans is required. Other opportunities, such as bartending, may also be possible with the right candidate.
