Job Title: Banquet Captain - Part time Company: Location: Auburn, ME Description: Responsible for directly supervising the banquet and conventional services staff to include greeting clients while maintaining the highest standard of service. You will be working closely with the Food and Beverage Manager, kitchen staff and management team and clients to produce successful events. Other duties include following Hilton standards, training, evaluating staff, motivating staff, attend weekly meetings with management and serving on shifts when not hosting the event. Must have open/flexible availability to include nights, weekends and holidays. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent education preferred. Must posses the ability to speak, read, write and understand English. At least 2 years previous food and beverage serving experience, preferably in banquet/function setting. Basic computer skills and prior customer service experience.
