Assistant Manager of a 200 seat Full Service Full Menu Family Restaurant with a Buffet and Salad Bar.
Assists restaurant General Manager in effectively running our restaurant, creating a pleasant guest experience, and maintain a pleasant working atmosphere for the employees. Supervises and coordinates activities of our restaurant employees by performing the following duties.
Maximize sales and profits by teaching, coaching and upholding sales and service techniques to ensure a great guest experience.
Demonstrate a leadership style that creates a positive working environment and remain calm during stressful and emotional situations.
Assists in recording delivery of merchandise, compares record with merchandise ordered, and reports discrepancies to control costs and maintain correct inventory levels in compliance with Vendor Policy.
Manage crew performance with clear feedback, recognition, reviews, coach/teach, and discipline.
Trains employees in restaurant policies, department procedures, customer service, POS operation and various job duties. Ensures that employees are following store policies in regards to cash handling, check cashing, and processing of Credit Cards.
